Révérence (2022) is a series of self portraits that combines my love of dance and nature, with particular emphasis on the forms and rhythms found in large, graceful trees. I am drawn to their movement and beauty as they sway in the wind as if to an ancient score. Ports-de-bras, arabesques, and infinite extensions appear in their trunks, roots and branches. I feel a profound sense of freedom when I let go and join their dance.
